A stray cat left six adorable little kittens in someone’s backyard, hoping they would have a chance at a happy future.
Kali, a compassionate animal rescuer and foster parent based in NV, received a message about a bunch of kittens discovered outside her friend’s residence. Apparently, a community cat brought four little ones to the backyard, and the next day, returned with two more in tow. Although the feline kept its distance from humans, it seemed to have sensed that the kittens needed help and left them on the property. The six adorable furballs were only about five weeks old and were struggling to cope with the scorching heat.
Kali informed Love Meow that due to the temperature exceeding 110 degrees outside, she advised her friend to bring in the kittens. Despite being unclean, the kittens seemed to be in good health overall. Kali and her friend are currently working towards aiding the community cats by promoting spaying and neutering practices.
Two weeks after, Kali welcomed six adorable kittens into her care for their foster journey. Without hesitation, they made themselves comfortable and marked the new territory as their own. They wasted no time and playfully engaged in wrestling matches until they exhausted themselves.
As the six furry siblings snuggled together on their plush bed, their collective purring created a soothing symphony. Before drifting off to sleep, they lovingly groomed one another’s faces. Kali reached out to local shelters and rescue groups for help with the kittens but unfortunately, they were unable to assist due to the overwhelming number of cats in need during kitten season.
Thanks to the help of the online community, Kali was able to provide full medical care and spay/neuter procedures for the kittens as they grew older. The kittens included four male orange tabbies, one female Siamese-mix, and one female tortie. Interestingly, the orange kittens appeared to gradually lose their color until they were almost white, as if their mother had run out of ink while printing them.
The cute little felines have been given some interesting names inspired by popular fast food items. The list includes Cola, Milkshake, Vanilla, Chicken Nugget, Cheeseburger, and Small Fry. Interestingly, the cream-colored kitten named Small Fry has a unique characteristic. He has the loudest and crunchiest meow among all his furry siblings. Small Fry always demands attention and will roar loudly until he gets what he wants. His meows are so overpowering that they drown out all other sounds in the room. Clearly, Small Fry is a vocal kitten who knows how to make himself heard!
According to Kali’s statement to Love Meow, Cola is the chattiest kitten she has ever fostered as she tries to outdo the other five kittens in the room. Cola is a tortie that exudes a mixture of boldness, intelligence, and sassiness. She shares her thoughts on almost everything and makes attempts to escape from every place she gets enclosed in.
As Kali enters the room each morning and frees the kittens from their playpen, they become a bundle of energy, darting around in various directions without a care. It’s safe to say that these playful troublemakers have kept things lively and exciting at all times.
Observing these kittens running around and playing for hours on end is an absolute delight. Witnessing their wild antics and playful nature brings so much joy. And when they finally tire themselves out and all curl up together in a big pile, it’s such a heartwarming sight.
We can rest easy knowing that these tiny creatures no longer have to endure the harsh conditions of being outside. They are flourishing in their foster home, growing stronger with each passing day.
